Visas and official filings
Who is ready to submit and what is missing — visible before the application, not after.
The expensive part of a visa process is not the rejection; it is the time spent after it. This module reverses the order: what is missing is listed BEFORE submission. Passengers without a passport, with a passport that expires too soon, without a photo or without a required companion are listed by name; those who are ready sit in a separate group. The six-month rule is measured from the RETURN date, not from today — a passport that looks sufficient now may not be on the day of return.
Rejection reasons surface early
You no longer submit a hundred passengers and get twenty back; the gaps are on screen beforehand.
The six-month rule is measured correctly
Passport validity is checked against the return date, not the current date.
One source for status
Visa status and number live on the passenger record; lists, reports and documents read the same data.

6 capabilities
Passengers send documents from their own phone
Every line on the outstanding-items list carries a send button. The passenger photographs their passport and uploads it; if the image is unreadable or not an image at all it is rejected on the spot — while the phone is still in hand and the passport still on the table. An upload does not count as delivered: it stays on the outstanding list until an operator accepts it.

Readiness list
Pick a tour or programme and every passenger's gaps are spelled out. Those with nothing missing are grouped separately.
Visas
Bulk status entry
Not submitted, pending, approved, rejected, cancelled — applied to selected passengers in one step.
Visas
Companion requirement check
Passengers who require a companion are flagged automatically. Age is calculated against the tour start date, not the registration date.
Official notification
Bulk notification of passenger records and processing of returned reference numbers; quota and allocation tracked per tour.
Official filings
Visa numbers on documents
The visa number sits on the passenger record and can be printed as a barcode on passport labels and passenger lists.
FAQ
Questions about this module
How many days of passport validity trigger a warning?
The threshold is configured per agency. The calculation runs against the DEPARTURE date, not today — a passport that looks valid now can fall short by the time the group flies.
What do we change if the mahram rule changes?
The rule is not in the code: age limits and the accompaniment condition are settings. When regulations change there is no need to wait for a release.
How do we see passengers with missing paperwork before departure?
The outstanding-items list is ordered by days remaining. Passengers with no passport entered, a passport expiring too soon, a missing photo or no mahram recorded are listed separately.
