Mahram
The close male relative a female pilgrim is expected to travel with.
On Umrah and Hajj journeys, female pilgrims are in certain cases expected to travel accompanied by a close male relative — father, husband, son or brother. The scope of the requirement, including the age above which women are exempt and how the relationship must be evidenced, has changed several times over the years and continues to change. Knowing today's rule matters; being able to adapt quickly when it changes matters just as much.

How Mahram works in the system
You set the age thresholds and the relationship condition yourself, so a regulatory change does not mean waiting for a new release from us. A passenger with no mahram recorded appears on the outstanding-items list weeks before departure, and room allocation prevents separating them from their companion.
